a little bit about me

a little bit about me 〰️

Meet natalee

You know how some people stumble into their dream career? How one day they just decided to try it and suddenly it hit them that that's what they were supposed to do?

Well, it wasn't like that for me.

I knew I wanted to be a photographer when I was still 4 foot something. (I'm 5'0 now which doesn't say much)
But since I was a kid, I dreamed and hoped and prayed to be a photographer. So you can bet that now that I'm finally living out my dream, I work to put my all into it.

The fact that I get to capture people's love stories is everything and more than I thought it would be.

Each couple's love story is different, special, one of a kind. I want to truly get to know you as a couple so I can tell that story as best as possible through my images. It's always my goal to make you feel as comfortable as possible so you can just be your 'in love' selves.

Your wedding day is such a momumental day. My job is to capture those big moments, but I also aim to catch the small ones. To be your eyes for things that might go unnoticed. How your new husband/wife got ready in the morning, your mom's face as she hugs you at the end of the aisle, and your friend's wild moves on the dance floor!

I want to take your memories and turn them into something tangible that you can treasure for the rest of your life.

  • I’m Natalee! I’m passionate about living and loving to the fullest, and finding the joy in everything. I was born missing my left arm and it has been a beautiful blessing to be able to share how the Lord has worked through my life.

I studied Photographic Technology at NAIT and began photographing weddings in 2016. 10 years later, I’m still endlessly inspired by weddings and so grateful to the couples who trust me with their stories.

  • When I was 11 years old, I picked up my first camera. Growing up, I used to always feel like time was moving too fast, that there were moments that I wanted to hold onto a little bit longer. I had a desire to capture the beauty all around me, to freeze it in time so it could be remembered forever. Photography has always been a way to take me back to those fleeting moments.

  • Fresh flowers on my counter.
    Waking up to the sunshine.
    A perfectly sized cappucino.
    Meaningful conversation.
Any day spent at the beach.
